Ana was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2017. She spent countless summers in the water at the West Hollywood Pool and started swimming competitively at the age of eleven. Since then, she went on to swim for her high school varsity team and the the club swim team at UCLA. When she's not in the water, Ana can be found playing guitar or keeping up with the newest movies in theaters. She has worked as a lifeguard for six years and as a swim instructor for four years. Ana has worked with students of all ages and skill levels. Her favorite part about teaching lessons is passing on her love for the water to the next generation of swimmers.

The Azores Islands in Portugal! There's so much natural beauty and the beaches look amazing.

My favorite part of swim lessons is when I see students gain confidence in themselves.

My hero is my mom. She taught me the value of hard work and passion.
