Karina Silva is a director of photography based out of Los Angeles, CA. She was a student-athlete at UCLA from 2009-2012 and is fluent in Spanish and Italian. After graduating from UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in 2012, the Madrid native, although born in Miami, FL, began shooting a variety of ﬁlms and documentaries while operating on union commercials and feature films.
Apart from her ﬁlm career, Karina was an Olympic level diver. She has competed in over 15 countries, holds 14 Spanish national titles, the UCLA record on 10 meter platform, and 3 European Championship titles; one of which she holds the record in Spain for being the only female to win gold at a European championship.

Anywhere with palm trees because I know I'm ok if palm trees are close.

Being with the kids and seeing their progress!

My mother, because she is the gravest and strongest person I know.
