Lauren grew up in Cleveland, Ohio (yes, she is a Cleveland sports fan through and through). She has taught swimming lessons for over 15 years and has had experience with every age group, from infants to adults. She loves to make her students laugh and have fun during lessons. Lauren truly believes that if a child is not enjoying their lesson then they are not going to want to put in the work that it will take to learn how to swim -- Lauren is all about making it fun! Lauren's favorite part about teaching lessons is watching a kid go from being scared of the water to swimming laps; it's the best! We are so lucky to have Kiera on the Head Above Water team for her first year!
"Ellie was hesitant to even get in the water at first but Lauren took the time to get her comfortable and was gentle, fun, and intuitive in her approach. Because of this Ellie has been making great progress and has been accomplishing new things since her very first lesson!"

"Lauren was very personable and made my kid feel at ease quickly. I could tell right away that she was very experienced in teaching."
-Anna T., Culver City, Summer 2019
