Q1: Where did you grow up?
I was born in Montreal, Canada and lived there until I was 8 years old. My family then moved to Texas (near Dallas).
Q2: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Brazil because I would love to explore the Amazon!
Q3: What is your favorite thing about being a swim instructor?
I love to see a swimmer's reaction when they finally swim all by themselved for the first time.
Q4: Who is your hero?
My parents are my heroes because they have sacraficed so much for our family and they still have the heart to run a non-profit health clinic.
Q5: If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?
"Yuna was ok about going in the water at first, but did get scared at some points. It took a lot of coaxing and leaving (on my part) to bargain with her to get back in, but Sandy was so patient and kind the whole time! And I will say, Sandy didn't make me feel like a bad mom. I have to admint that there was a lot of guilt going on in my head, but Sandy reassured me that everything was ok :) My daughter initially spent much of the lesson time crying, but then it turned in to crying because the lesson was over and there wasn't any time left to swim and play with the toys!"

"Sandy was absolutely wonderful with Abigail! In the short time she spent with her (7 classes in all), Sandy was able to form a bond with Abigail and gently but persistently guide her out of her comfort zone. I was amazed by her patience and how she was understanding yet firm. It was clear Sandy has experience and knows what she is doing. Even I don't have the kind of patience she does! I look forward to Abigail having the chance to work more with Sandy when we return to LA."
