Back for her 2nd season with Head Above Water, Susan has been swimming ever since she can remember. She joined her first swim team at age six and didn't stop there. She has swam on a club team, on her high school swim team, and she is currently on the Los Angeles Valley College swim team. Susan's older sister Natalie is also one of our swim instructors and Susan has learned a lot of what she knows from her experienced sister. Susan has been teaching swim lessons formally for over four years. She has worked with children of all ages and she enjoys making her classes fun and teaching water-safety skills to her young swimmers. She also enjoys working with older swimmers and adults to improve stroke technique. Susan believes that swimming is an important skill that every individual can benefit from and she looks forward to meeting you and your swimmer and teaching a life-long skill!
