Timothy was born and raised in Jamaica and recently graduated from the University of Southern California. He learned how to swim at the age of 3 and joined his school swim team in kindergarten. He continued swimming for the next 15 years up to the collegiate and Olympic level. A fun fact is he was one of two swimmers to represent Jamaica at the Rio Olympic Games. Timothy advocates for water safety so he became a lifeguard and a swim instructor. His favorite part of teaching lessons is seeing a person’s face light up with joy when they accomplish something new in the water.
