Now in his 2nd season with HAW, Timothy was born and raised in Jamaica and recently graduated from the University of Southern California. He learned how to swim at the age of 3 and joined his school swim team in kindergarten. He continued swimming for the next 15 years up to the collegiate and Olympic level. A fun fact is he was one of two swimmers to represent Jamaica at the Rio Olympic Games. Timothy advocates for water safety so he became a lifeguard and a swim instructor. His favorite part of teaching lessons is seeing a person’s face light up with joy when they accomplish something new in the water.
